Ingredients
- 2 green bell peppes, sliced (2 cups worth)
- 1 medium yellow onion sliced
- 1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes no salt
- 1lb flank steak
- 1 Whole Wheat beaguette, cut it cross to get 4 pieces
- Coat a large skilley with cooking spary and heat on medium high. Add bell pepper cook for 5 minutes then add onions and cook for 5 minutes more - veggies will be slightly brown. Add diced tomatoes and simmer for about 5-8 minutes. Season with sal and pepper and remove from heat.
- Meanwhile in another skillet coated with cooking spray add seasoned flank steak ( season with sea salt and ground pepper) Placein hot skillet and cook fo 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove and let sit on cutting board for 5 minutes then cut across the grain into thin stripss.
- Fill each baquette with veggie and meat mixture and voila a healthy, heart meal.
