FEBRUARY 1ST: WHERE DO YOU STAND?

By the stroke of midnight on January 1st, many of us make the same resolution to become fit and lose weight, with the best of intentions.  Unfortunately, by February 1st the majority of us fall short, and memories of fitness have long fallen by the wayside.

In the spirit of realizing our fitness resolutions, let's get on track and outline what you can do to help you go for it 100% in 2009:

HAVE A GOAL
Sounds obvious, but its quite important. What exactly do you want? If you don't have a target it's impossible to hit it. Spend some time alone and think about what is holding you back? How much weight do you want to lose? What measurements do you desire? What does a healthy lifestyle entail for you?

VISUALIZE
This is the fun part. Experts agree to have something in your life, you must first see it in your mind. Visualize in your mind specifically how you want to look. What type of clothing will you wear? Dream in as much detail as possible and play the movie over and over again! Hold onto the image long enough and you will be living it before you know it.
